Conference Media is a conference photography and videography company in Toronto, Ontario, operated by Papr Mache. This policy explains what information we collect through conferencemedia.ca, why we collect it, and the choices you have.
What we collect
- When you request pricing. The form asks for your name, email, event date, the services you're interested in, your budget and details about your event. The form also notes how you arrived at the site (for example, a Google search or a LinkedIn link) and the first page you visited. We use this to reply to you, prepare a quote and learn which channels bring us clients.
- When you email us. We keep your messages and contact details so we can work with you.
- When you browse the site, if you accept cookies. Google Analytics records which pages you visit, how you found the site, and general details like your device type and approximate city. We use it to understand which pages help event organizers, not to identify you.
- How you use the pages, if you accept cookies. Microsoft Clarity records clicks, taps, scrolling and mouse movement so we can see heat maps and replays of how the site is used. What you type into forms is hidden from these recordings.
Cookies and analytics
Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity only run after you tap Accept on the cookie notice. If you tap Decline, no analytics cookies are set. You can change your choice any time with Cookie settings.
Some project pages include YouTube videos. They load through YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode, and YouTube may set its own cookies once you press play. Our fonts load from Adobe Fonts and Google Fonts, which receive basic technical information such as your IP address when the page loads.
Who handles your information
We use a small number of service providers to run the site and our business: Netlify hosts the site and receives form submissions, Google provides analytics and email, Microsoft provides Clarity, and Adobe and Google provide fonts. Some of these providers may store information outside Canada. We don't sell your information or share it for advertising.
How long we keep it
We keep quote requests and client correspondence for as long as we need them to work with you and to meet our legal and accounting obligations. Google Analytics data is kept for up to 14 months, and Microsoft Clarity data for up to 13 months.
Your choices and rights
You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or withdraw your consent and ask us to delete it, subject to legal requirements. To make a request or ask a question about this policy, contact our privacy officer, Javon Martin, at hello@conferencemedia.ca.
