Year two with Vooban.

Vooban is an AI firm that helps Canadian businesses put AI into production. IMPACT AI is their event for the leaders doing that work: half a day of fireside chats and keynotes, with, in their words, “no fluff, no theory.”

We covered IMPACT AI Toronto in November 2025, and Vooban’s event planner, Mikaela Tierney, hired us again for the 2026 edition at MaRS.

Our approach.

Photo drops, session by session. A half-day event moves fast, and the best time to post about a speaker is while they're still on stage. We edited on site and sent photos in batches through the day, so Vooban's team could share each session as it happened.

Every speaker, every angle. The stage was a fireside setup in front of a bright IMPACT AI wall, framed by plants. We worked wide from the back of the room to show the crowd, and tight through the greenery for clean, close portraits of each speaker.

Photo and video, side by side. A two-person crew split the day: one on photos and live drops, one filming the stage and the room for the recap video.

The people, not just the stage. Between sessions we covered arrivals, the branded coffee bar, and the networking floor, plus a set of photos for the Vooban team at the end of the day.

What we delivered.

The event ran from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The first photos were in Vooban's hands before 11, and the last drop landed just after the closing session.

From the stage.

A few of the 122 stage photos, sent live from every session.

“He knew where the story of the day was going to happen and was always in position to capture it. Keynotes, panels, networking, candid moments: everything was covered with a polish that made our event look as good as it felt.”Jason Mehta, Director of Strategic Partnerships & Business Development, Vooban

The results.

Vooban had stage photos to post during the event, and a full gallery two days later, and a recap video to promote next year's edition.

“Our designer, who’s tough to impress, said ‘This is the best one yet!’ You guys understand the assignment. I barely need to tell you anything, you just know and produce. Plus your personalities are great, you know how to engage people.”Mikaela Tierney, Event Planner, Vooban

On the floor.

A few of the 182 event photos: arrivals, branding, networking and the Vooban team.
